First of all, let me start by apologizing: I’ve lured you here under false pretences. This book is actually a cannibalistic alien parasite, which will slowly devour you as you pretend to read the ever changing characters scrawled on the surfaces of its pages. Why would I do such a cruel thing, you may well ask? In return I get free rides all over the universe. Some people only get to experience these kinds of disorienting stories in fever dreams. Thanks to billions of cross-wired synapses, they come to me almost continuously. This book should contrast strongly with the typical “Hollywood” line where the hero is always right. If it doesn’t, than either I’ve sold out or Hollywood has suddenly gotten a lot weirder. Everything in this book happened exactly as written. Not necessarily to me, I mean, like maybe it happened to a “friend” or something. A friend who was born in the most cursed of months, under a foreboding sun, without the benefit of a doubt, at night. If it hurts too much, just stop reading and give it to someone you don’t like very much.
