In addition to writing her own books, Hanno Frank coordinates Garden Bench Projects and, when she can find the time, updates the Garden Bench website. What drives Hanno Frank? The fear that many people are abdicating their creative powers to large entertainment industries. Rather than letting the "professionals" have all the fun, Hanno believes that most people have untapped reserves of artistic expression and is single-handedly trying to encourage the entire human population to take it back and DO ART! Do-it-yourself art, she asserts, will be low budget and less polished but it will be much more rewarding. The GBP website is intended to showcase the output of "normal" people who do outstanding, original, creative, professional-level work. Here is a little poem for my friends at Safe Place!
